The purpose of this project is to look for farther possibilities of future cell phones. With the 50mm equivalent camera module, this cell phone no long depends on the screen while taking pictures. By using the transparent frame as viewfinder, “What You See Is What You Get.”

just wonderful..but how does the camera connect to the harware of the phone?
Looks fragile. And the phone’s design really isn’t that nice. And as for “what you see is what you get”, it would be hard as hell to have a good high quality camera in that size.
A really big problem would be perspective, the girl’s taking a photograph from an arbitrary distance from the camera, it’s like when you make a square with your hands you would frame an image, if you put your hands closer to your face you would frame a bigger picture and so. that??s not a problem with analog cameras because you always look trough a hole and the same picture zise/aspect ratio is framed, and in the new digital ones it just displays the picture it’s gonna take. I guess that you don’t really get what you see after all. Anyway it’s a good idea and resolving those problems would be a good chalenge for Interaction Designers out there!
i would rather just have a phone half the size with the camera attached to the back like normal. seems like a waste of space having half the phone a viewfinder.
iPhone - the best phone!
Misnomer. Because the viewfinder does NOT show what the lens is seeing, this is the What You Don’t See Is What You Get camera phone. I predict astronomical sales. Not.
Perfect.
That is the gred phone!
