USB memory sticks are always nice to have around when transferring files from computer to computer. These sticks are picked from the woods and are manually selected on their natural beauty, professionally handmade into unique and personal USB memory sticks.

Only works if they fit into a laptop slot when the laptop is on a desk. USB sticks that are too fat for that are infuriating.

  2. Guido Guido Says:

We totally agree with Shawna; We make sure they do also fit in laptops as well.

    so. old.

Why not make them into pressed plywood ones with diffrerent types of veneers? This way they are nice and flat so they dont get in the way of your desk while inserting into your laptop or computer. It would be a great project for use of leftover scraps after bent blywood furniture is created….making it so that they dont create any waste, but use up material that is about to go into the landfills! This way you could also have a selection of woods to match your desk or other furniture…

I just glanced at these and now I’m so glad I have a Sandisk, not these bulky pieces of crap. It’s great to recycle and all, but it’s DAMN ugly

  6. Niels Niels Says:

No offence but… if you dont like it than no comment is also a comment! DAMN ugly is not a open way of expressing your opinion and doesnt leave any room for discussion. Ofcourse you can be hounest about your opinion but tell it in a friendly and open way and not as a fact. It would be nice if expirimental stuff can also be posted and discussed here in a pleasant way for both designer as for other guests. I think you should have a pretty impressive portfolio in order to express yourselfe in such way and even than it doesnt looks ugly in my opinion. If you want to say its not your taste, you think its unpractical and you wouldnt buy it than say that, cheers

I like the idea of using natural materials and giving products a unique charakter which makes it personal. I dont like USB art, but I like the touch and feel of wood. I am confident that there are people who like this and I bet it looks nice if you hook it up a powerbook.

I agree, not for all tastes. There are other wood USB sticks you can get at www.flashsticks.co.uk You can see a video of the product being handled which is a good idea as it gives you an idea of scale.

    Sam :)

well if it makes any difference, i would buy all of these. sure they might get in the way sometimes, but they just have a raw, organic feel… totally opposite of what a computer is. i like the irony, i like the object. good job.
