Vase Space

Inspired by American Federal furniture and the obsessive nature of neo-classicism, this side table integrates three removable vases that flow smoothly into the table top.

Is there a plug underneath each vase? I hope so, because otherwise I have to turn the entire table upside down to change the water. Other than that, the idea isn’t too bad.

I guess so: “this side table integrates three removable vases”

As they are “removable” I assume you could use different vase shapes.

Ah, my mistake. I apparently missed that part when I was reading the description. Since I couldn’t tell from the image that they come off, I guess the design works! :)

Personally, I don’t see why having vases flow into a table improves either one, aesthetically or functionally… In fact, I kinda think it ruins a perfectly good table.

It looks nice, but not any better than just putting vases on a table.

  5. This is a beautiful concept!

Just paint it lacquered white, put some red tulips in the vases and photograph it in a black studio environment and it will look even better! ;)

I think this is a great idea! Especially if you have small children in the house or pets that like to run wild, it’d be nice to have vases of flowers that won’t/can”t get tipped over easily. I love that your guests would be stumped as to how you get the water out.

  7. gw says:

so u unscrew the vases and the water pours out the bottom or is it enclosed ?
