First impressions upon seeing the “UFO Lamp” design by Nuno Teixeira, is that the secret society of UFO alien spieces already being discovered by human. Actually the UFO lamp design is one of the cool design that I found so far. With an oval suspension/floor lamp made of high-density expanded polyurethane with car paint finish. This design had a strong visual impact through high-gloss colors and sculptural body.
With great idea of a suspended lamp that look like UFO spaceship make the design frozen in spaces - more over in your living room. A Colorful design, make the lamp more attractive.

Sorry iynque, but you should know this concept before you start comment….a really bad comment.
I´ve seen the project details in some other blog. The floor lamp got the light ( tubular halogen lamp) source in the inner top of the structure, the suspension, well, you don´t need to be so clever to know where the light source is. The all idea is to hide the light source, that’s the reason you do not see the LIGHT. I totally agreed with Flash…its a great design.

Well, with the information given, it doesn’t describe the light source or that the concept is to hide the light source. In fact, none of the renderings seem to emit any light at all…
You can see why I was confused.
It so modern it doesn’t actually light anything. I agree with iynque. The diplay of this product is poorly done. I’m also a little sick of this world in which everything exists on a shiny white glossy surface with perfect reflections. I’m guessing this is what the cells look like at Guantanamo.
