This is the original twist-on ice cream soda float cup. It’s a molded plastic cup and lid that holds ice cream and attaches to a common soda bottle. By squeezing the bottle, soda flows into the ice cream cup and mixes to create a delicious float, which is slurped thru the spout in the lid.

This. Is. Ridiculous. Come on people, seriously…
Hahaha! Very creative, but what’s wrong with just mixing the root beer…with the ice cream?
…
I love this. I absolutely adore this. Rod, I think it’s because sometimes you don’t have room to make a proper float without making a mess. These could be sold in the ice cream freezers of convenience stores and could be stuck on the top of and pop bottle to make an impromptu float. Brilliant.
I have been looking for this for the last 40 years. We had something similar to this when I was a kid.
It was globe shaped and had 2 halves that fit together. One half fit into the pop bottle and the top half had a mouthpiece to drink from. It made the perfect float with pop running through the ice cream in the globe. I wish I could find one!
How many times have I said to myself, “self, we could really use a float but we’re always on the go!”
I’ll be damned if this doesn’t solve my float-on-the-go problem! Nice!
the straw goes all the way into the soda. Wouldn’t you only get soda?
