The idea just seems sort of off. I don't mean to put anyone down ever but why when we have MP3 players the size of a pencil that do the same thing? Unless you want to appear to be reading when in actuality you're just listening to the radio?

As far as the controls go, again I just think the idea is a little backwards. I'm perfectly fine and actually prefer a 100 point scale as to how high my volume is. The bookmarking thing is again I think more hassle since we currently just push 1 button and boom, the radio station is on.

The notes thing is something you may want to explore a bit further but as it stands now I don't see a practical use for it unless you could somehow tie it to some sort of podcast? But even then most podcasts come with a short description of their contents.

This idea may not be commercially viable... but it is thought provoking as an alternate interface for a radio (or MP3 player or database or...). What other ways can we make navigation more tactile, engaging or comfortable for the user? Good job.
