TeaStick Stirrer

Teastick seeks to re-define the form of a tea-bag, such that it can also act as a stirrer for the user, allowing the user to enjoy the tea through stirring it easily.
The simplicity of the form also allows it to be hung from the sides of a mug, so that the tag does not drop into the tea.

That is really really awesome - and this is actually a solution to somewhat of a simple problem!

I want to see this in production :)

Is it completely made in metal or is the bottom part soft like a teabag?
I don’t understand the problem of having a teabag and spoon.
this is too complex for no problem.

Sorry but I saw this idea in full production in England about 5 years ago. The only thing you have different is the little hook at the end.

Even Oprah like it. Was featured on her favourite things. http://www.oprah.com/omagazine/olist/omag_olist_0352_foo.jhtml

    Yup. It’s been done before.

…and you aren’t supposed to stir tea while brewing (right?), and using the tea to stir in any sugar, milk, etc. would be just that.

That’d be kinda nice. It’s even more slimmer than oprah’s version. i like it.

This problem has been already beaten to death…

Any number of reusable infusers can be used for this… however they’re hard to clean and require loose tea. If the infuser is disposable then it is too flimsy to stir the tea and sugar. If it’s made from tougher materials then it becomes too expensive and not eco friendly… thus not worth it.
