The shelf itself is nice enough with the different designs on each level, so minus the shoe horn, it would make a presentable all purpose household shelf. It doesnt seem specific for shoes...I could see books easily place on it as well. Nice design...but why particularly for shoes?? Also, looks like only a specific type of shoe horn would hang in the hole provided. There are MANY shoehorns out there...some have loop holes...some are just simple curved objects etc. How is it much different from a regular shelf.
