This is a concept for a Signage System.3D Installations that are modular and unique at the same time. Individual prismatic units combine with adjacent ones in numerous possible combinations. Due to the triangular faces, It gives a sense of direction an arrow which points to an important building or area. Due to the uniqueness of each prismatic composition, it also serves as an attractive installation, adding a dash of color to the urban landscape.

It’s interesting, but not terribly clear. Is the Metro Station to my left of directly below me? The Town Hall seems to be to my right, and that’s the point opposite the longest side…. so the Metro Station is on the seventh floor of the building to my right, one block ahead! Wait, what’s that red one? The Metro Station is in the sky?

I think you need to consider the requirements of signage for way-finding before you try make it pretty.

Attractive public signage, though… That’s an idea that’s worth some consideration.

A nice idea, a nice form, but this is not functional.

    hi,
thanks for your comments & feedback. i think i should have used a small arrow instead of the dot, which is currently supposed to denote the exact direction of the place - like the town hall / station.
actually the colored triangle was made to add a dash of color to the otherwise brushed stainless steel look.
thanks again…..will do some improvisation :)
