i am failing to see the point of this… in any case the wine should be stored with cork down
I am pretty sure this is a promotional item. So you would use it on a display to give more information about the wine, a promotional price etc. So if you are having a wine tasting promotion each bottle could have a clearer description of the taste of the wine, what it goes with etc while still being attractive and functional.
It’s a great idea.
