Rain Collector
A folded aluminium sheet, shaped as a leaf, used for collecting rain water. It can be stuck directly into flower pots or in a watering can.
Good for a watering can (that can already be placed under a gutter spout), but not so good for a flower pot (that can already collect plenty of water if it’s in the rain).
A nice design and a nice idea, but the suggested applications seems a bit…. useless.

cool but useless,

Leaves are for catching water. They have done a wonderful job of it for centuries, and don’t really need the help of external devises. Plants tend to grow as many leaves as they need water for, and in the shape that best suits the purpose.

Pretty useless, as well as counter productive. If you’re giving the plant too much water, you’ll drown out the roots, and wash away much of the soil and nutrients. Plus since it’s out in the rain, I’m sure it will be fine all on it’s own.
