I think it’s a good idea. I often place my phone/alarm on hollow wood to make it louder, or for something really jarring… a thin sheet of metal. (like in a medicine cabinet)
agree with Eric, as glass seems fragile when you want to kill your alarm in the morning.
It would be best if you could just integrate the same concept into the phone itself.
