like the time-line in any audio/video player but on the TV… good!

I agree, but sometimes the DVR’s or whatever players are hidden or away from the vision.
This solution places the info right on the screen.
But I guess that some existing devices already display this info with a push of a remote control button
… so, now I don’t think it is as good as I said before.
good idea but my freeview box already has it
all digital satellite recivers have this feature, most show it when changing chanells, its part of the EPG
