   How big is it? Architectural? Jewelry tray?

   …and is it meant to be functional in some way, or just an oddity?

   Should it look like a pool, or just suggest one? As it is, it looks like a pool full of mercury.

   I think it’s kind of cute, in a quirky sort of way. I certainly imagine it hanging on the wall rather than some large architectural feature.
