Pendant lamp Penta is designed to adapt light to every requirement. If opened it provides an elegant chiaroscuro light texture whose shades can change its fifteen sides in a pure dynamic optic chiasm which suggest a rotary motion. Once closed, Penta becomes a plain light source able to illuminate anything behind, like tables and pieces of furniture, always keeping its strong stage presence. Purely made of recycled polyethylene flat components, Penta can be defined as a three-D creature, thanks to the balanced number of components and joints between them. Penta is a project developed by italian designer Luca Casarotto (Coscadesign studio) during Foscarini Lab, a workshop by Foscarini.
