This toy octopus is missing his 8 legs. You’re supposed to find plastic bottles and screw them on to become his legs. Once you get all 8, he’ll be buoyant enough to float.
The plastic bottles pictured look really new. If you actually find bottles on the beach there usually really scratched and dented. Making plastic to reuse plastic, seems a bit backward.
The picture I’m seeing only has spaces for six bottles going around. That would make it a what, a sextopus?

Kind of interesting, but would you really want your young child running about on a beach poking in piles of rubbish?
Just buy the kid the soda and when he has drunk it he’ll have the bottles for the octopus without digging in the trash.
Toothless but with a cool toy to play with and hyper is all get out.
It gives your child a good motive to clean the beach. :D
