except any piece can be played at any time because they all have colons for eyes? only the bottom half varies. not like dominoes at all.
Hi Anne, it is exactly like domino.
there are 6 faces + 1 blank (like the numbers in domino), and each piece has two faces (like domino pieces)
*I also got confused the first time I saw the image, because the pieces on the left are placed horizontally and they are the doubles .
I think it is a very geek/fun variation of Domino
