The concept of the Lichtinfusion is based on a transformation of an everyday object which frees itself from its predetermined function and advances to a self-confident design object.
The lamp presents itself in an emancipated manner and excels through its puristic elegance.
It instinctively plays with public perception provoking the viewer to take a standpoint. Love it! or Hate it?

First off, I saw these, or something just like them, on another website some time ago. Second, these, just like the other ones, are creepy as hell, and I couldn’t imagine having these in my house. Maybe if the bags were red they’d make a sweet Halloween decoration, but aside from that, keep them away from me.
Great creepy use of milk bottles
Okay, first, I clicked the link to see if I could find out more, or rather, ANYTHING about this. There’s a lot of double-talk in the description, but nothing of substance. However, I didn’t feel like sitting through the amateurish intro animation and promptly closed my browser.
I think when Philippe Starck declared “design is dead,” he meant this kind of vapid, pseudo-intellectual styling of things.
What is this thing’s reason to be?
@ iynque… hmmm pure creepiness?
