Lappack is a document-carrier that also can be used for carrying and protecting a laptop computer, specially designed for conferences and other similar events. This green design is made of recycled and molded wood pulp and it can be disposed in a paper recycling container once it has served its function.

Ok, I don’t like lap-tops, but I see the need for them, but aren’t there lap top cases on the market? I haven’t seen one since the original lap-top. (What a klunker!) The recycled cardboard is great, but you better make sure the clasp and hinges are secure or “woops”.

  2. Xander Xander Says:

not only secure, I’m concerned about if the cardboard rips, and if it coushins the laptop from ANY shock. Other than that, it looks pretty good.

I love it! I would definitely buy something like this for my laptop, and the fact that it is eco-friendly makes it that much more appealing.

It’s an offbeat concept, but it’s really not all that “green”. A) It’s made out of wood pulp, and well the use of wood is something enviromentally concerned people try to avoid using, since it has to be replaced and is obtained by diminished an exhaustable resource. B) Carry a document or laptop case that is permanent, and does not to be thrown away and then replaced, reduces waste. (Much like using cancas, instead of paper or plastic.) This product on the other hand, is actually producing more, and I don’t really see too much of a point in disposable document/laptop cases :/
