I love this concept!
it??s a great feedback for smokers…
Neat! Could help someone quit smoking if they thought about what it does to the plant, it does to the lungs/body. Interesting.
But what about when the plant dies? then you just have a big awkward ash tray.
maybe if you sold it with seed pods. There’s a product called “Baby Blanket” made by Kelpman in Canada. It’s a kelp-based felt that can serve as soil for small plants (it holds water hand proovides nutrients). Maybe seeds and replacement “blankets” could solve the “what do you do when the plant dies” problem. Excellent as a quitting aid.
my mom loves plants and she smokes.. this would be such an eye opener for her.. i would love to get one
What a good idea!
fantastic thinking it could be show directly to smokers , what do they do with themselve?
Why would I want to spend money to deliberately kill a plant? That’s just dumb.
Haha, this is funny. Smokers already know that they’re killing themselves. Having a nagging cough didn’t make them stop, their white cat turning yellow didn’t make them do it, why would a plant change anything? Making a do-it-yourself lung and artery health measurement device MIGHT actually do the trick. “Hmmm… my lungs are only yellow right now, I’ll quit when they go brown,… just before black”.
This might be a good gift for a smoker but I can’t imagine one ever buying it. Who wants to be nagged by a plant for goodness sakes?
Also, a lot of smokers don’t tend to leave their cigarettes just burning in the ashtray. They ash their cigarettes and eventually put them out. Putting them out in this device would be such a pain- oh heck,.. why not just put it out right in the plant and be done with it?
It would sure make smokers reflect on what they do but… wouldn’t it cause unnecessary suffering to the plant?
Poor grass..
I see lots of broken families and broken vases..lots
wouldn’t the smoke that goes out of the other end be the exact opposite of the smoke that goes into your lungs…
