Hack a retro gaming light gun with tilt switches to control a vintage digital clock radio.
When the alarm wakes you up, grab the gun and kill it off!

I love this idea — it’s perfect for those insane individuals who repeatedly hit the snooze button when the alarm sounds — incentive for them to actually get out of bed on the first alarm.
haaa, good idea
I actually have that retro clock in my dorm room right now. wake up (or at least try to wake up) every morning to that alarm and wish I could silence it for good….. now I finally can!
Is that a SEGA Master System light gun up there? Gawd, that brings back memories…
Awsome, I will pay you 40$ if you would make me one. If you are willing, email me a admin@endlessblends.com

If only it were easy enough to build for $40. For something one of a kind like that, you have to consider both cost of materials and time to build. You can’t possibly think that this could be done for that, do you?
Try offering a couple hundred, then you might be getting somewhere.
Cool idea!
This is the one thing that will complete any room. I want to kill some time!
how about this? the orb thingy projects a laser image (maybe of an old fashioned alarm clock, blue laser of course) flying all around the ceiling and walls as it beebs, and you have to shoot THAT to get the thing to shut up. that would be super bitchin’!
ooh, ooh, and there could be different level settings and when you hit it it’d blow up complete with sound effects, holy crap! i want one!!!!!!!!
lol too much work for turning it off… at least for me
Let’s keep it simple: When you first awake, you are not focused. The eye on the clock should be pinpointed so that you have to be exact. Put it on your beaur…, bureau and now you have to get up. Great idea and easily $30 - $40. My kids got a plastic duck shoot thats cheaper.
how about I pay you 40$ to make one yourself…bozo.
i’m about sure this could be prescribed by psychotherapists… :)
hey i love the idea e-mail me at discontinuembass@aol.com and lets talk figures
that chord is so short… it’ grab the gun and end up slinging the radio across the room, smashing it into the wall…. if you could figure out how to make it chordless, that’d be great, but then there’d be the issue of keeping the gun with the clock.
cute idea tho.
htats awesome.
cordless… have clock farther from bed so you really need to wake up and “aim” to kill it off :)
(even add trigger operated laser pointer for fun?)
Great Idea!
dude, that cord needs to be longer or eliminated altogether.
