jive is the package of products that let your gran stay in touch and keep up to date with their social network.
The complete system and experience allows for new users to communicate with the ones they care about without having to use a computer.
The device uses friend passes, which is a physical link to a friends digital content. This is used with ‘bettys’ tangible user interface to load more specific information about a person.
The device was made as part of Ben Arents ( www.benarent.co.uk ) design degree, and is meant to be as a design concept that will help start a conversation about new methods of communication.
