The honeycomb lamp puts a new spin on the Japanese paper lantern. This lamp ships flat, but when unpacked opens to reveal a one-piece paper shade and base in a radial honeycomb pattern made of traditional Japanese denguri paper. Secure with a few pins, drop a corded fixture (not included) through the hole created in the center column and the lamp is fully functional

Very cool, but not very durable. …suitable perhaps AWAY from a busy entryway table.
