Good Night Eileen

The concept for the lamp is based on the archaic hand-lamp, which was used for illumination moving from one room to another at home in the dark.
The lamp does not need to be switched on anywhere, because it recharges on its base and continues to shine as soon as it leaves the base for a view minutes before slowly fading.

    Like this. My girlfriend and I are both old fashioned… ok, we’re archaic, and this sort of stuff is right up our alley. The concept is cool, and I’d bet it uses less electricity than turning on every light between you and your bathroom in the middle of the night. I’m curious as to how long it holds a charge though, because if I can use it to get to bathroom, but then it dies before I’m done, well, the idea is kind of defeated…

    THAT IS SOO COOL!!!

    @EbonRose
    I’m sure it will hold a pretty good charge depending on the battery. and if it is only using LEDs, it wont draw much power anyway. Those little LED flashlights last *forever* with only a little watch battery.

    If it’s made of porcelain, it seems like it would be uncomfortably heavy and easy to break (perhaps while you are using a single LED to navigate a darkened home).

    Otherwise, I like it a lot.

  4. Really like it!!! Cool stuff!
