Electrical appliances connected to mains power in bathtub water will kill a person, as phase finds a return path through the water. A device such as this could easily be insulated, and if water was to get into the electrics it will simply short the battery. However a rechargeable battery is never %100 rechargeable, all rechargeable lose charge over time. This is an ok idea, think it has a very limited market.

Maybe this could be used as a mere bathroom mat rather than be submerged in bathwater and risk electrical shock to some unknowing being.
