Get out and sit!

This is a backpack with a sit function. The combination of a chair and a backpack is achived by sewing tentpoles into the sidewall of the backpack. The tentpoles also contributes to a superior compression system.

From my experience with tent poles, they break and bend pretty easlily. It would have to be another material and be fixed firmly to the base. If the poles aren’t firmly supported they would tip like this //

Sorry, I probably haven’t described my idea quite good enough. The tentpoles are beeing supported by the fabric when the seat and a bottom is used (as seen in the top right picture). The idea is created for a producer backpack brand, thats also producing tents, thats why I chose tentpoles. TEntpoles can be made of various types of aluminum, scandium and composites, so I don’t think the strength is a problem.

There is also a plastic plate in the back of the backpack which prevents torsion.

How many major cuntbusses can you fit in this backpack?

  4. Wataow Wataow Says:

Could also be easily converted to another idea… “Get out and SH*T”.

  5. Nate Nate Says:

Could also be a major lawsuit when one tentpole inevitably breaks through and skewers someone’s legs, nut sack or orifice.

I think this may be liked by the Hobo community ^_^ not that they really care where they sit. I know I’d like one.

I think everyone waering this will look fat!

But nevertheless i belive Torkel is right, the fabric will keep the poles from bending. its def. strong enough to support up to 200lbs.

I once went hiking an became extremely annoyed because I couldn’t find anywhere to sit and relax. I would not go hiking again without something like this.

Thanks for the link! I’ve heard about that backpack, but never seen it. It’s not my design, and it’s based on a quite different principle.

Dr. Stones: There is only room for one major cuntbus. And then it is packed.

I think that some people should really not bother posting their idiot*ic comments on this site, granted some of the ideas are pretty bad as well… but anyway, think before typing people.

I’m a mechanical design engineer and I agree with your comments regarding the strength. The cylindrical shape will provide most of the load baring qualities, the tent poles will simply aid rigidity. The main reason tent poles brake it due to poor installation or lack of product care. I believe with clever use of vertical ribs molded into the shell and the use of the tent polls could be eliminated.

This is a good idea and is worth further development, good stuff.
