I, unfortunately, am from America, where someone decided long ago that we were going to do things our own way, and to hell with the rest of you. I do not agree with this philosophy, and have long preferred the way things tend to get done in Europe. This product is a prime example of that.
First, I really just plain like the idea. I like the way it looks, and I like the way it works. But the thing I like most, being from America and seeing this as something foreign, is how ROUND the plugs are. Everything is the same size, the same shape, and that allows neat little designs like this to be pulled off. If I tried to do this with the assortment of plugs that run my computer and it’s peripherals, it would look like something out of Katamari Damaci, with all kinds of freakishly disjointed bits sticking out at funny angles.
Anyway, kudos on the design. I’ll have to find out which countries use those plugs, and they’ll move up on my list of potential egress destinations :)
This idea is wonderful,
but In UK the plugs are super ugly also.
Well, The plug shape is like the ones here, in Spain. I don’t actually know if any other country use this shape and I have never spotted such a awesome connector.
Anyway I am not so sure it is such a wonderful design. I think any multiplug connector with more than three sockets is a mess regardless its shape. Don’t you think so?
