It doesn’t look much like a peacock and it looks like it would be heavy and hard to ride…
Sweet idea,
try this…
Put an electric motor under the seat and a generator to charge it as you ride. Build it out of carbon or another light weight strong material, and make it in blue and black. i’m sold (for anything under a grand)
oh and as a bonus you could have a 12 volt output (running off the battery/generator as you go downhills, break or dare i say it… pedal) to charge an ipod, cellphone/iphone, or a laptop/macbook (yes i love apple). Who knows, gps is getting cheaper and cheaper may be by the time this gets off your notebook you could have that as an added extra… onstar on a bike… thats going a little far, but why not turn by turn directions, GREEN POWER RULES! Oh ya and may be if you put all of this in, add an alarm that notifies you (text your cell) and then asks if it should notify the police (open the pod bay doors HAL… i’m sorry dave i cant do that). just a few ideas. why not sell it to segway as their bike version. i know that they were making a kick a** four wheel thing.
oh and get a new name…

You don’t get it. I feel sorry that you spent so much time in whatever solids program you used to create this clunk-ugly “peacock bicycle”.

If this design were to ever go into production. The hub less wheels would weigh much more than an conventional hub wheel, in order to gain the same rigidity. The frame would have to be made of a reinforced polymer in order to keep the weight down, this along with the hub less wheels would push the price of the bike out of most peoples reach. Ever heard the phrase “Don’t reinvent the wheel”?
