Cinco Sustainable urban furniture with illumination powered by solar panels.
The project’s aims are to provide a resting place for pedestrians, humanize the urban environment and make the cities a better place to live. It offers a comfortable space and a meeting point, to make a rapid lunch, consult a guide or a map or simply rest for a while. At night the place is illuminated by LED lights powered by the energy obtained during day light. We propose its use for public spaces, sidewalks, squares, touristic points, etc. An eco-friendly project whose structure is made of anodized aluminum. The Five stools are easily turned up and down, due to a spring system. Stools are framed by rubber band to protect from impact at ground. Solar panels, applied to the table’s surfaces are covered by a thin layer of transparent UV Acrilite, collecting sun energy enough to provide power for the LED lamps above.
