Ceramic Cup

Ceramic cup for hot beverages can be held without burning the users hands. Fin structures put distance between the held surface and the hot liquid allowing for a natural grip as heat is dispersed to gently warm the hands

that’s a genious solution for an everyday problem!
    I really like it, congratulations

I think the fin structure would make the beverage cool faster, which may or may not be a desirable effect.

    i don’t think so…
my point is that the fin structure should even wormer the drink because you have more ceramics around it.

this design will cool the beverage, it’s the same principle and a cpu heat spreader. but it’ll definitely keep your hands cool!

    Pretty smart.
It would cool the beverage though, if you want to keep your coffee warm, you’ll have to keep the heat from transfering to the fins, but then that would defeat the purpose.

    Still, I like it

gay? I really don’t see the gayness of this…
I think is a great idea, useful and clever.

This is why normal cups have handles, plus there would be quality assurance difficulties moulding the ribs without misshapes or breakages. Anyway, why not market your product and then come back tell us how successful you have been.

Having studied thermodynamics, this is and intriguing concept. Theory would suggest this cup would cool a beverage faster than a regular ceramic cup, because of the increased surface area. But my gut feeling is it would be very marginal to a regular cup. The shape is fine for mass production as long as there are the correct tappers and fillets.

Mmmm, I don’t find it revolutionary
