[cell] phone cabin
2,972 Views * 3 views today I imagine a kind of telephone cabin for cellphones.
It might sound a bit stupid, but I observed people trying to find privacy on public spaces when talking with cellphone. (in order to avoid noise or to avoid others hear what you are talking about)
Yesterday I went inside a traditional phone-cabin on the street to talk with my cellphone and it was extremely comfortable.

useful idea. i’d love to have some of those in my city. the problem is who pays for them. i’m curious if you have any thoughts on the matter.

the cabins (or more simple structure) could be financed by the city government and it could get revenue from ads. (not necessarily commercial ads, but cultural activities like concerts or plays)

They’ve already had concepts of those. I would never use em though. They WILL get the same amount of grafiti as normal phone boothes. Unless I go to somewhere like new york where I would need speakrs to use my phone.
