The coasters generally serve the purpose of just covering the cup or supporting it. Why not have it as a cup holder as well.
Made of flexible insulating plastic it has grips on the sides for the thumb and fingers. This way you don’t burn your fingers and you hold the cup comfortably.

    Great idea!

although it looks as though it is made to fit this specific mug..it’d have to come in several sizes to accomodate different types of cups and mugs.

    it’s cool n useful

This looks cool, but the grips kinda take away from the look. Perhaps make the grib come from the top and gently curve to it’s current position, sorta like a curved n’ stretched teardrop. Other than that, it looks great

great idea… no more scalding mugs of tea or coco!

It would obviously have to come as a cup and chair set.

i like the idea but de design of the seat is like those baby stuff, like little baby dishes or something.

    good

i think what you will find when you make an actual prototype is that the cup will be extremely difficult to hold because the diameter of the holder base is much greater than the diameter of the cup base… i think you would have much better success using a general coffee cup with identical base and top diameters. it would also make your product a lot more appealing to the general public… great idea! good luck
