Baracade Sign Sculpture

Two freeway baracade signs were bonded together (like two sheets of paper) and then waterjet cut. The puzzle-like shapes were then folded and bent into the final configuration. No welding or attachments. The 5 foot wide mobile-like sculpture now hangs, with a series of others, from the ceiling of Miriello Grafico, our design office in San Diego, CA. - Ron Miriello /maker

    How is art an “idea”? People have been making art for tens of thousands of years, and even the act of cutting up scrap metal and reworking into an art object is far from new. Why is this here?
