ATM folders

I always wanted the ATM’s to have folders for my bank account.
Often happens that I go to withdraw money in the middle of a crazy night, and I know that I should not be spending that money… but I don’t know from “where” I’m spending it. (from my savings? my holiday plan?, the house rent?)
I think it could be good to have folders in your bank account so you can distribute your money and every time you take money from an ATM you choose from which folder you want to withdraw.
The problem with current ATM’s is that when you see your “Total money”, you might think you have a lot! but in reality you can’t spend more because all is allocated. (so with this idea you can choose what to sacrifice:)
*normally people have more than one bank account and cards to solve this problem, but I’m a simple man, I just want one account.

I totally agree! If banks want to create a better customer experience and really help us manage our money, it should allow us to organize our money in a way that makes sense to US. So far, the best they can do is “Savings” and “Checking” account, and maybe other currencies. But that’s not practical for everyday life.
This is a really great idea. A bank should do it.
that’d be great. While they’re at it, maybe they can get Apple to make the OS for the ATMs. The current OSes look like Windows 95
I’d really like it if my bank had this feature. Not just for ATMs but for online banking interfaces, too. Even if the $ itself isn’t broken into sub-accounts, it would sure make it easier to plan and monitor your budget.
I think this is a brilliant idea, it would take up a lot of your own time though; annoying if you have a busy life
I would be so pissed if I got the blue screen of death while trying to get a little cash.
