It is inconvenient to store some kinds of foods in the refrigerator. These foods, such as candies, cakes, and cookies, often cause an ant problem in our daily life. This product?’s design concept is to add water to the dish?’s edge, thus keeping ants isolated from our food ?– a concept that is feasible for everyday products. The concept of Reversible Dish ?– developed under the supervision of Jin-Dean cheng ?– is inspired from small observations in our life. There are still so many small details in our life. And we want to solve these problems with a simple and relaxed attitude.

An OK idea. Moving the dish may cause the food (or you!) to get wet. I think simply using a covered dish will be a smpler and more effective idea

I did this sort of thing to protect a plant, then it got infested with little flies because of the still water. try cinnamon, I hear they wont cross that.

Ummm how about other even simpler ways without having to buy this…

    1. Cover your plate with another plate or wrap
    2. put your plate up on a rubber pad/coaster
    3. put your plate into smaller dish with water
    4. put a rubber band on the bottom of your plate

Now… if you were to market it as a dipping sauce or salsa plate… WOW! GENIOUS!
