Aluminum pulltab chair.
The sitting of his lounge chair, suitable for indoor and outdoor purposes, has been made of 1739 aluminum can tabs. They are tied up to each other, and attached to a lightweight aluminum frame.

It’s been done before. I’ve seen a lot of aluminum pull-tab furniture. Aluminum can furniture. Zip-tie furniture (those are zip-ties, right?).

    It’s still cool though. :)

Even if it’s been done before, kudos to the creator. That took a lot of effort, and a lot of drinking! Must be one very tired, but well hydrated designer!

Also, I do like how this takes material that is normally discarded and turns it into something new. This piece would be a good conversation-starter!

Pull-tabs are extinct here in the U.S. ..and I predict there soon, too.

Oh wait, you can get it on horrid tasting faux.j. cans. I think it’s the tabs that make it taste so bad.

Hm, wasteful. Pull tabs can be melted back into a reusable mass of metal but plastic zip ties are made from petrol-based plastics. Re-tarded “thinking exercise”. Isn’t the purpose of such exercises to produce something of worth, not “concept trash”?
