I’ve seen similar things before.
What I like from this one is the simplicity.
I’m so sick of cup holders built into plates. They just don’t work.
Other than that, it’s a good idea.

It would be better to have the cup closer to the hand, as to reduce the amount of torque required to hold the mass.
